Cliff “Runner Runner Chaser” McDougal here and its time to talk Poker. I just finished a 4 month in rehab or as I like to call it, a beautiful place to find new connections to meth.
We are almost at our 3rd tourney of the year and there are quite a few things to talk about, so let’s get started
- Darryl has broken with slump and won the last tourney. His usual play of bluffing and then catching worked in his favour and he’ s currently in 1st
- Jeff T seemed to get ill after his quick knock out of the night, but he’s currently in 2nd and hopefully he won’t throw up his chances of staying in the run for the cup
- Jay P is continuing his play from last year, no one knows what that is, but it seems to work
- Kyle continues to carry “Bad Boyz on his back as he was able to have a strong finish and carry Denley to the finish line. The Ryetrads and Bad Boyz are tied 1-1.
- Smallers rebounded with a 2nd place finish after being one of the first knocked out the tourney before. His play is more up then down than a hooker on pay day.
- Forsyth has shown that a fun table he has lots of chip and a boring one he losses as quickly as possible. Many believe that Forsyth play is dictated by TV, One Bubba and Laughing too fast.
- Mike is expected back this week after being given a game suspension. Wait that’s his coaching career… anyways he’s back this month and the rye will flow like beer
- Walker has filed a grievance with the league after he felt the other table was playing slow. Of course, he’s 2nd last with an average of 3 points per game. So many feel he should file a grievance with his ability to chip dump to others at his table. Bluff by calling doesn’t seem to work
- Darren and Mark are very happy with the new table that was provided to the Tour. This means they can start their cash game sooner
- Phil still hasn’t won a tourney since Jesus was in short pants and many feel that his dealing ability at the final table is a thing of beauty and they are happy for it
- Danny R is trying to rebound after last years debacle. In 2 games he already has a third of the points he had last year. He has also tied his last years tourney high finish as well. Let’s hope he can continue to this or we may see him in skinny jeans playing a recorder again. Oh wait the recorder didn’t happen and the skinny jeans always do
- Denley is playing like the Denley of old… problem is that he’s playing like season 6 Denley and not season 8 Denley. Many hope that he tries to jump the fire pit this month. Have your cameras ready ladies and gents!
- Hiller had the chance to make a statement for the Ryetards last month, but unfortuatley he only brought the Tards and forgot the Rye. Except for making people laugh, he’s not expect to be a factor this month
- Rumour is that Adam is making his return to the league tonight. After a stint as a ref in 3 year old water polo games, he tried his skills at football refereeing again Here is a snap shot of last months game
