So How Do You Reverse The Curse?

As many of you know, last season we were able to witness one of the greatest collapses in Big Boy Poker history. Chris D thought it was a great idea to touch the cup before the season started. He felt there was no curse in doing this and would have no effect on anything.

So let’s recap what happened

• Last Season he had 51 total points, this season he had 18
• Last Season his best of 7 was 43, this season his best was 18
• Last Season his average points per game was 5.1, this season it was 1.9
• Last Season he had 7 knock outs, this season he had 3
• Last Season he made 7 final tables, this season he made 1
• Last Season he was tops in consecutive final tables of 6, this season it was 1
• Last Season his average minutes per game was 231, this season it was 132.7

So believe in a curse or not, this was a huge blow up and many believe that touching the cup killed his not so high level of poker play.

So what does he do? He does what anyone would do (well those that are mentally delayed), he not only touches the cup again, but gets Jeff F to do the same. Was there booze involved? Maybe! Was this after a long day of golf and poker? Possibly! But was this a bad idea? Only time will tell!

So how can the player who just barely missed the recorder this year (he did have the Kevin not showing up loophole) get any worse? I’m unsure but I do know that if he can get worse, it is going to happen and the only one he will be able to talk about poker with will be himself. By seeing from his stats, that’s not a person you want advice from.
