Cliff \u201cRunner Runner Chaser\u201d McDougal here and its time for the mid season recap. This year has had more ups and downs then a Stormey Daniels Donald Trump sex tape. It\u2019s had more bad calls than the Ontario PC trying to pick a candidate. \u00a0You have a better chance of determining someone\u2019s gender then deciding if you should fold those pockets 4\u2019s preflop.<\/p>\n
Over the last few tourneys I have been able to come to a few conclusions.<\/p>\n
1. Don\u2019t use logic of rules with Danny and then watch him lose it, basically he just chip dumps and kills the vibe of the table.<\/p>\n
2. When the table knows Palorune has a flush, don\u2019t go all in first hand with Jacks.<\/p>\n
3. Mike\u2019s mix tape should be dropping spring 2018 with the first song Straight Out of Card Luck looking to be a number 1 single<\/p>\n
Lets take a look on how people are doing so far<\/p>\n
Jay<\/strong> is in the lead and has done this by not caring about the cards or the people at the table. Basically, its like his hockey career, does it all by himself and yells at people that don\u2019t agree with his playing style<\/p>\n Darryl<\/strong> is in second but many are wondering if his iPad is really playing Dungeon or Dragons or if its Sims. We believe its sims and his character is someone who can win at poker. So far he\u2019s been living that Sims life<\/p>\n Kyle<\/strong> is still in contention but has had a few tough tourneys the past two weeks. All the Vicodin that he\u2019s taking to relieve the back-pain form carrying Denley must be getting to him.<\/p>\n Bobby<\/strong> is just a few bluffs and straight catches to catapult himself into first. Seeing that would have to be a big ass catapult, we believe he will start going back to his old ways and hanging out in the loser lounge<\/p>\n Bryan<\/strong> pulled off a huge win this season and its caused some people to talk about him for once. Well they always have talked about him but that\u2019s wasn\u2019t because he was good at poker. Many believe his Weinstein approach to poker will only work for a bit until people stand up to him and take him for what he\u2019s worth<\/p>\n Darren<\/strong> has been blinding out his way to be in contention this year. Maybe he can figure on how to close a door one day as well<\/p>\n Dan L<\/strong> has changed his playing style this year. He can no longer bully people with his playing style. Push them off a chair is another playing style all together though and its seems to of helped<\/p>\n Smallers<\/strong> has tried to change his game to bad bluffs and dumb calls, hasn\u2019t worked out that well for the defending champ.<\/p>\n Mitchel<\/strong> game play is like comparing your child spilling soap to an iPad going into a bath tub. It doesn\u2019t make sense and he usually leaves his chair for it<\/p>\n Jeff t<\/strong> has not seemed to find his play this year\u2026. well he\u2019s found it, but so has everyone else. The man has made more bad calls then using your moms credit card for 976 numbers as a kid.<\/p>\n Phil<\/strong> had a great second place that looked good for him and not the rest of the league. Fortunately, that was his peak and he\u2019s back to being the dealer and that\u2019s good for the players<\/p>\n Chris B<\/strong> has used the Bluff By Calling template that was set so many years ago. Needless to say, its not been a great year<\/p>\n Danny R<\/strong> needs to be at every tourney this year to give himself a chance to compete. Unfortunately, he must work the next tourney and that will hurt him. Many hope this work is him working on his temper tantrums and comes back being the hating the establishment, type writer using, plaid shirt tucking, skinny jeans wearing mofo we all love<\/p>\n Mark<\/strong> playing style has been like this writer\u2019s ability to stay clean. It works well or a bit, but you always end up blowing someone in the parking lot of a 711 for a dime bag<\/p>\n Mike<\/strong> l has been trying everything this year\u2026 he\u2019s had rye, he hasn\u2019t had rye, he\u2019s dressed up like slim shady\u2026 nothing seems to work. Maybe he should try playing poker<\/p>\n Denley <\/strong>playing ability is only surpassed by his ability to yell at people for playing correctly. Its been an average season for him but there is talk about dedicating the loser lounge to him. As its doesn\u2019t seem like the chance to have his name on the cup is happening anytime soon, might as well put it somewhere<\/p>\n Pete<\/strong> is having a bad season so far. Well we can\u2019t confirm if its bad or not\u2026 as he has actually been showing up this time<\/p>\n Jeff F<\/strong> seems to be committed to making sure that his quickest out legacy stays in tact. I\u2019m sure if we spoke to his wife or ex\u2019s they would already confirm this for him<\/p>\n Gaige<\/strong> is playing like Gaige\u2026 nuff said<\/p>\n Its been a while since I opened my mail. One reason is because I\u2019ve been busy, the other reason is because its hard to read letters that are used burn the evidence. But here is the problem, people do not leave their homes, \u00a0drive 30 to 40 mins sit in a room with booze, friends and cards to discuss this shit. As my mother always used to say to me, political conversations are like dead hookers.
